Teams are free to create, everyone can register separately, and every teammate can run, jog or walk the 5K at their own pace.

Create your team when you register, then send the team name to your people so they can join when they register.
No group checkout required. Everyone can register and pay separately. Want to register four people in one transaction? You can save $20 with the 4-Pack, too.
Already registered? You can still join a team! Log in to your RunSignup profile, open your Sweaty Sweater registration, and select the option to join an existing team.
HOW IT WORKS
1. START A TEAM
Create a team while registering for the 5K. You’ll become the Team Captain.
2. RALLY YOUR PEOPLE
Share your team name with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors or anyone else you want on your crew.
3. THEY JOIN YOUR TEAM
Teammates register and pay individually. They don’t have to register at the same time. Or save $20 by registering 4 people all together.
4. KEEP RECRUITING
Four gets you into the Team Challenge. More gives you a shot at Largest Team.
5. SHOW UP + HAVE SOME FUN
Run together, walk together, race each other or meet back up at Après 3.1.

FASTEST TEAM
Speedy people, this one’s yours. Fastest Team awards are determined by the combined finish times of each team’s two fastest eligible finishers.

Teams compete in one category based on their registered, in-person 5K members:
- Men’s Team: All members are men.
- Women’s Team: All members are women
- Non-Binary Team: All members are non-binary.
- Mixed Team: Members represent two or more gender categories.
How is Fastest Team determined?
The two fastest finish times from each team are added together. The team with the lowest combined time in its category wins.
For Mixed Teams, the two scoring finishers must be from different gender categories.
Your team’s category is determined by its registered, in-person 5k members at the start of the race. If someone switches to the Virtual 5K before race day, your team’s category may change.
